Lenovo ThinkAgile SXM delivers a pre-integrated, easy-to-deploy rack-level solution for hybrid cloud to dramatically reduce time-to-value and total cost of ownership (TCO). The solution is based on Lenovo’s industry-leading data center infrastructure and Microsoft Azure Stack Hub, an extension of Microsoft Azure Services to on-premises environments.
Suggested workloads for the ThinkAgile SXM include virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), back-office applications, server consolidation, enterprise applications, databases, test and development environments, and hybrid and private cloud implementation. Starting with as few as four nodes to keep your acquisition costs down, the solution offers “pay as you grow” scalability as your needs grow.

The ThinkAgile SXM4600 solution is built on a minimum of four innovative and reliable Lenovo SR650v3 2U compute and storage nodes, each equipped with two Intel® Xeon® Scalable Gold 6400 / Platinum 8400 series processors and expandable, a node at a time, to the rack maximum. The SR650v3 nodes are storage dense with a high performance caching tier of four SSDs and a capacity tier of ten HDDs. Each node utilizes a high speed, dual port 10/25GbE Mellanox ConnectX™-6 network adapter and connects to a 25Gbps SN2410 rack switch.

There is no up-front cloud software license acquisition cost for the ThinkAgile SXM solution, monthly billing is based on the actual resource usage (capacity-based licenses are also available).
Lenovo provides ThinkAgile Advantage Single Point of Support for the entire ThinkAgile solution with the nodes, networking, and software, for quicker problem determination and minimized downtime.

Network connectivity is provided by three Cisco network switches. Two Cisco Nexus N9K-C93180YC-FX3 switches provide 25GbE throughput for general network traffic. These switches are referred to as “TOR-1” and “TOR-2″. A single Cisco Nexus N9K-C9348GC-FX3 switch provides 1GbE throughput for management traffic. This switch is referred to as the “BMC” switch
